STOMACH BUGS or other Contagious Illnesses

If you child has a stomach bug or anything else that is contagious - then please do not bring him/her to the rink. In the changing room and during training your child is continuously breathing in and out air borne bacteria/viruses. Infections can spread through a team very quickly - it is especially important that we don't infect a whole team before a game at the weekend as the coach would rather have just one player out than half the team missing.

Advice here is that coaches and managers should think long and hard before starting conversations with players whether from their own or other clubs as this could lead to allegations and miss interpretations.

Travelling

The Executive Committee have advised Coaches and Managers that they will not able to give lifts to players to either games or training. This could lead to miss-interpretation and also allegations could easily be made from the individual or any club member. However, Coaches and Managers can assist players with lifts as long as another adult is present in the car. Clearly, however this does not stop coaches/managers taking their own children.

If you have a problem with getting your child to a game or training please contact your manager as soon as possible for advice/help.
