The only person allowed on the ice when the Olympia is in
operation is the person moving the goals. All ice cutters have been
instructed to drive off and not finish the cut should anyone open doors or
step onto the ice.
Goals must be moved by the teams for ice cuts and the last
team must remove the goals from the ice and put them in the correct
position. A £10 fine will be levied against the team if this is not done.
The Ice is off limits until staff are off the ice and the
Olympia doors are closed.
All doors around the rink (players' bench and penalty boxes) must
be kept closed.
When pucks are in use please ensure the doors leading to the
cafe are closed. Glass broken as a result of pucks leaving the rink will be
charged to the teams.
Only those trained to use the scoreboard may be in the AV
room and the microphone must be signed for from reception and taken back at
the end.
Changing room keys to be signed in and out, rooms are checked
once a day by management, so if you see damage caused by the team before
please notify management immediately or your team could be charged for the
damage.
No spectators are allowed after 11pm as the rink is closed to
the general public at this time.
A minimum of 2 weeks notice is required if you are not going
to use your slot or you will still be charged for the ice.
Please start and finish promptly, you may be charged extra
should you exceed your allotted time.
