 Equipment
  • Shin pads - these protect from the top of the skates to, and including, the knees
  • Box or Jill (Groin protector) either fitted in suspenders or compression pants
  • Neck Guard (not shown on picture)
  • Helmet with grille or full visor. Colour Black where possible please. No extra stickers allowed.
  • Hockey Skates
  • Elbow pads
  • Hockey gloves
  • Hockey socks that go over the shin pads and are held up by the shorts or suspenders.
  • Hockey pants. Colour Black where possible please.
  • Braces
  • Sweat suit (most beginners use Superman pyjamas!)
  • Stick
  • Shoulder pads
  • Practice jersey

N.B. English Ice Hockey Association rules do not require the use of a mouth guard (The reason? IIHF rules say players must wear an "approved" mouth guard, and as there is no such ting as an "approved" one in the UK the EIHA can not enforce the rule).
